Rebuilding futures, one child at a time.
Rebuilding futures, one child at a time - More than a declaration or tagline, these words represent a clear, strong and powerful focus. They not only reflect the determination the Children's Fund has in continuing to fulfill its mission, but also the conviction of its successes.

Our resolve to make a difference in the lives of children has been a constant, forward-thinking focus, as is reflected in our mission to provides education and welfare relief to American children enduring long-term sufferings due to a tragedy of national significance including catastrophic disasters and acts of terrorism.

The Twin Towers Orphan Fund was founded on September 12, 2001 for the sole purpose of providing educational and welfare assistance to the children who were orphaned (who lost one or both parents) by the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The mission of the Twin Towers Orphan Fund is to provide long-term higher educational assistance and mental and physical healthcare assistance for (a) children who lost parents in the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, or onboard the four downed airliners, and (b) children of victims of future terrorist attacks. In the aftermath of 9/11, America not only looked deep into its collective heart for compassion and into its soul for courage, but it also looked to its armed forces for strength. Honoring our nation's military, America's Child provides educational assistance and physical and mental healthcare assistance for the children of our military heroes: the fallen men and women who proudly sacrificed their lives fighting terrorism and whose strength and courage has kept our nation safe. If you know of any surviving children of our military heroes who have given their lives in patriotic service to their country fighting our nation's war against terrorism, or if you know of a child who lost a parent on September 11, 2001, please register with the Children's Fund of America. This will help us identify and qualify those who are in most need of our help -- now and in the future.

The Children's Fund of America provides higher educational assistance, as well as physical and mental health care assistance to the children who lost parents on 9/11, or who's military parent gave their life to protect us from the horrors they faced on a daiy basis.
